While Model Makers Group specializes in Agency Placement, we also love providing meaningful opportunities for models as well. This event is part of our Model with a Purpose series. It provides models with an opportunity to use their beauty for something bigger.
What Is Pink It Out?
This is our third Pink It Out! photoshoot fundraiser in collaboration with Radz D. Media. Proceeds from this photoshoot fundraiser will benefit our sister non-profit, A Model Patient. Models have a mini-photoshoot on 2/15. A judging panel will review the imagery the following week to select the most compelling imagery and the winners will be released the week following the shoot.
Who can apply?
We are considering all ages, genders, sizes and experience levels. Models must be available on 2/15 in Birmingham, AL.
What are the model obligations?
Selected models will participate in a fundraising campaign for our charity. In order to participate in the photoshoot on 2/15 in Birmingham, AL, models must raise a minimum of $250. Funds collected will be used to send care packages to breast cancer patients across the country.
Models will arrive to the shoot location wearing PINK to show their support for breast cancer awareness. Models will have staggered call-times to help avoid too much wait time. They will arrive camera-ready; hair and makeup touch ups will be provided. After the models strike a pose, they can also participate in writing cards for our care packages and other crafts to benefit breast cancer patients. The time commitment on 2/15 will be about an hour. All models will receive 1 complimentary retouched image from the shoot (this is the image that will be sent to the judging panel for the competition portion) and additional images may be purchased. This is a great way for models to build their portfolios- all for a good cause!
